“?Italian outfit AC Milan have made Tottenham striker Harry Kane their target for the January transfer window.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Milan are readying a bid of €50m for the young England forward.
With former club owner Silvio Berlusconi selling a 99.93 stake in the club for around £625m, Kane has emerged as the Rossoneri‘s main target, despite Napoli’s failed attempts to sign him prior to the close of the transfer window this summer.
The 23-year-old is not the only one on their radar, however. The paper is also reporting that the Serie A side want to spend €100m in January, and are targeting Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti as well.
Milan boss Vincenzo Montella is said to have made Kane a priority because of his versatility. The striker could operate at the point of attack on his own, or play in a two-striker system. And the coach would love to pair him up with Carlos Bacca.
Kane won the Golden boot last season, scoring 25 Premier League goals for Tottenham, but hasn’t gotten off the mark this season, having played three games so far.

Montella will have a hard time convincing the player to switch clubs, though. Kane has expressed his desire to end his career at Tottenham, and speaking via “?Sky Sports last month, he said as much.
“I’d love to stay here. The club is in great shape at the moment, and we’re going forward as a club, and that’s important.
“As long as there’s a vision with the club, and we’re not stale, we’re going forward as a club. At the moment, we’re an excited group of young players with a great manager, great training ground and a new stadium coming too.
“I’d love to stay here for the rest of my career. We’ll just have to see what happens.”?
