Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has denied reports he could leave the club to join Besiktas this summer, and has revealed he’s not considering a long-term future away from the the German champions.
Robben’s place may come under threat at Bayern over the course of the season, and he has a contract that has just entered its final year. The Dutchman, while speaking to “?Goal, has, however, confirmed that he’s not thinking of anything but his current commitments to Bayern.
He said: “No, that is not important for me at the moment.
“I will try to become fit, I want to train and play. That is the only thing that matters. Everything else will come.
“I have a very good relationship with the club and the board of directors. We have a big appreciation and respect for each other and we know what we have together. That’s the only thing that matters. Contract, yes or no, one year, two years, three years…that is not important for me. I just want to play.”?
He answered “yes, why not?” when asked if he could see himself remaining at Bayern beyond the end of the current season, but then claimed he was ignorant to reports that he could move to the Turkish league.

Robben added: “One shouldn’t talk too much about the future. I respect every interest from every club and I have just been laughing because that’s the football world. It’s always the same. That’s nice, also for the fans.
“They can discuss who will come or who will leave. But I know what I want and Bayern is the only thing that matters at the moment. We will see what happens in the future.”?
And when pressed on specific interest from Besiktas, he added: “No, I don’t know. Maybe they got in touch with my agent, my dad. I don’t know.”?
