Wikki Tourists forward Uche Martins has undergone surgery on his troubled knee.
The former Plateau United and JUTH FC forward said it was a successful operation after he had tried hard to see if the injury would go without him going under the doctor’s knife.
“My knee has been operated on,” he told Reporters
“It was done at Daisyland Hospital in Jos on Thursday. I have been trying to avoid operation for a while to see if it will heal, but it didn’t. I hope to back stronger.”
Martins attempted a comeback earlier this season, but the knee complaint persisted.
