England youth international Ola Aina is close to earning a call up to the Nigeria senior national team following his recent contract signing with Chelsea.
Nigeria have already sounded out the full back who is reportedly also interested in switching allegiance to the Super Eagles of Nigeria but his lack of first team action with Chelsea made Nigeria to put his call up on hold.
However following his new contract extension with the Blues which will reportedly gathered has a clause that he will be given a look in by the first team, his call up to the Nigeria senior national team is drawing ever closer.
19 year old Aina signed a four year deal with Chelsea yesterday after months of refusing to extend his contract with the Blues, the team he has played for since he was under the age of 11.
An England U-20 international and also an established player for Chelsea at youth level he played 18 consecutive games in three seasons for the Chelsea U-21s and helped Chelsea U-19 retain their UEFA Youth League crown last season.
