Liverpool forward Christian Benteke looks set to end his miserable spell on Merseyside with Italian giants Juventus in the hunt for the Belgium international, reports “?Gazetta Dello Sport.
With rumours linking current Juventus striker Alvaro Morata back to former club Real Madrid, Benteke has been identified as the man to bolster the Old Lady’s front line.
The Liverpool number 9 joined the Anfield club following a big money move from Aston Villa believed to be in the region of £32m.
Benteke has failed to establish him in his debut season at Liverpool and Gazetta Dello Sport report that the Premier Club are prepared to cut their losses on the forward stating that a £19m deal would be enough to take the striker to Italy.

The 25-year-old moved to Merseyside having averaged just under a goal every two games for struggling Aston Villa over a three-year period. However, since joining Liverpool in July 2015, the Belgium forward has managed just nine goals in 29 appearances for the Reds, his worst return in England’s top flight.
Following his dismal season, Gazetta report that the big striker no longer fits into the plans of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and the club will listen to offers for him.
“?”?However Benteke is not the only Belgium forward that Juventus have identified as a possible replacement for Morata, according to Gazetta.
The Italian news outlet report that Michy Batshuayi and fellow Merseysider Romelu Lukaku, who has publicly stated his desire to win trophies, are also potential targets of the Serie A champions.
