Ex-JUTH FC striker Kabiru Umar hopes to ensure Plateau United’s safety in the Nigeria premier league during his loan spell at the Jos club.
The striker has quit Shooting Stars to join Plateau United on loan.
Plateau are third from bottom of the table on their return to the top flight halfway through the season.
“I have signed a loan deal with Plateau United till the end of the season,” Umar told AfricanFootball.com
“The deal was signed on Wednesday and my target with Plateau united is to help them remain in the premier league by scoring as many goals as possible.”
He further told AfricanFootball.com his previous club Shooting Stars have yet to pay him for playing for them on loan in the first round.
“I played on loan for Shooting Stars, but they are yet to pay for the services I rendered them,” he said.
Kabiru Umar also played for Enugu Rangers, Kano Pillars and Heartland as well as posted a stint in Iran.
