The Executive committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will on Tuesday meet with the country’s minister of sport, Solomon Dalung to deliberate on the failed bid to qualify for 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The NFF chiefs are also expected to discuss the feasibility of hiring for the country’s senior national team, the Super Eagles.
This much was confirmed by the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick.
“We are going to critically discuss a wide range of issues during our (NFF’s) consultative forum with the honourable minister of sport on Tuesday.
“The entire board and the technical committee will be present at the meeting as we attempt to come out with a clear direction as regards the choice of coach for the Super Eagles.
“On Tuesday, we should know if we are going for a foreign or Nigerian coach,” Pinnick said to assembled media in Abuja.
Nigeria’s last two Afcon qualifiers against Egypt were masterminded by local coaches, Samson Siasia, Emmanuel Amuneke, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu
