Ghana winger Christian Atsu is sad his high-flying Bournemouth teammate Max Gradel has been pegged back by injury.
Ivory Coast international Gradel is facing months on the sidelines after picking up a knee injury during their draw with Leicester City late last month.
The new signing made a bright start with the Cherries and perfumed his artistry in the four matches he played me.
Atsu admits his absence is a big blow for Bournemouth who lie 16th on the table after five rounds of matches.
“When I called him and he said he would be out for three months I couldn’t believe it,” the on-loan Chelsea winger told Bournemouth’s official website.
“He had started playing really well, but football isn’t fair sometimes and you can’t do anything about it.
“I speak to him every day and he is doing well now after having surgery.”
