BA United CEO Yaw Frimpong has dismissed claims the club is now throwing their matches following their demotion from the Premier League.

The Apostles of Ghana Soccer have no chance of retaining their Premier League status with four matches to the end of the season.

BA United have lost seven matches out of their last 10 matches with all the remaining being draws.

And with teams desperate for points to stay safe, beliefs are rife that BA United are only interested in throwing their matches for financial gain as they prepare for the tough life in the Ghanaian second tier.

But the club’s Chief Executive Officer Yaw Frimpong insists they are not selling matches.

“We don’t fix games,” he said.

“The strength of the team is down and even now someone is facing trial at the chief’s palace for making a similar allegations.

“We are not selling matches, the team is just not good enough.”

BA United’s remaining four matches are against New Edubiase, Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and Bechem United.
