Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey registered his MLS-leading ninth clean sheet of the season after his side Portland Timbers drew 0-0 at San Jose Earthquakes.
Kwarasey finished the match with three saves, including a critical kick save in the seventh minute on a close range attempt from midfielder Chris Wondolowski.
He has been a key force behind Timbers’ fifth place spot on the Western Conference table.
The Timbers return to the Rose City for a home game against Eastern Conference side the Chicago Fire, where compatriots David Accam and Patrick Nyarko play, on Friday Aug. 7, at Providence Park.
