
Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has backed Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao to spark under Jose Mourinho.
The Colombian international has joined the English champions on a season long-loan after a disastrous season at Manchester United.
But the 29-year-old has settled into life in London after he trained with his new teammate for the first time on Thursday.
And Ghana international, Michael Essien, who spent eight years at Stamford Bridge, expects the striker to be revived under the Portuguese manager.
“[Mourinho] knows how to get the best out of his players, how to say the right thing, how to motivate them. He will get him back to the Falcao everybody knows.” he told Guardian.
