Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Tetteh was a 73rd minute introduction for Lech Poznan as the Polish side recorded a 1-0 victory over Sarajevo to progress to the next round of the qualification series.
Poznan took the lead in the game on the 33rd minute thanks to a strike from Douglas Barry with the visitors struggling to settle in on the high tempo start from the host.
Ghanaian Aziz Tetteh who joined Poznan from Greek side Platanias was finally given his competitive debut for the Blue and white side on the 73rd minute as he came in to add to a two man midfield and did the basics of closing out the opposition.
Poznan will now take on Basel in the next round of the qualification series as they aim to reach the group stages of this UEFA Champion’s league this season.
