Ghana FA presidential hopeful Ofeibea Ramatu wants Kwesi Nyantakyi to follow in the footsteps of FIFA boss Sepp Blatter and resign from his position.
The ambitious lady claims Nyantakyi has so many corruption allegations hanging around his neck and must therefore pave way for her to ascend the throne.
The highly respected lawyer, who has endeared himself to CAF aficionados, has come under constant attack from a tiny section of the Ghanaian media with repeated but unsubstantiated allegation of corruption.
There are many who believe a recent 2014 government white paper on a three-man commission tasked to look into the country’s wrecked 2014 World Cup campaign was skewed to make him unpopular.
And the beautiful lady, who is more famous for her television advert for OLS than being known as a sports or football person wants the incumbent to step down.
“He (Kwesi Nyantakyi) knows what I can do and so he should step down,” she said
“There are so many corruption allegations and like his counterpart in FIFA, he should step aside.
“Sepp Blatter did the same thing, so why cant he?
“I more than qualified to succeed him when the opportunity present itself.”
Nyantakyi, a CAF Executive committee member is in line to win a third consecutive bid to head the Ghana FA despite their constant corruption claims.
