Ghanaian star Augustine Okrah is close to regaining full fitness for his side Al Merreikh and remains hopeful of play in their pre-season friendly against Schalke in Doha in a fortnight.
The 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player and goalking has been battling injuries since returning from an ill-fated four-moth loan spell at Swedish side BK Hacken.
But Okrah is making progress and has starting kicking a ball.
Al Merrikh SC will face Roberto Di Matteo’s at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at 17:30 local time.
