Technical head coach of the Super Falcons Randy Waldrum have highlighted the fact that there’s still work to be done on the team despite their recent win in the just concluded international friendly match.
the coach has highlighted what they needed to work on ahead of the World Cup.
The nine-time African champions defeated Haiti and New Zealand in Antalya Turkey, scoring four goals and conceding none in the two matches.
The American gaffer said they need to work on the shape and the passing quality of the team.
When Next we go into a training camp before heading to Australia, it will give us chance to work out some of these things we talked about. The shape of the team, passing quality and movement.
“We are much better with these things in this camp, but we must continue to work hard,” he said.
Super Falcons will face Canada in the opening group game before facing the Republic of Ireland and Australia in the second and third group games of the competition.
