Trabzonspor striker Abdul Majeed Waris is unlikely to join the Ghana squad in Spain before head coach Avram Grant announces his final squad for the 2015 AFCON tournament.

Waris was named in the 26-man squad to train in Spain but reports claim the Ghana technical team have asked him to travel to Spain for assessment before the final squad is announced.

However, the crocked striker has been spotted in Sweden where he visited Stockholm, Halmstad.

He confirmed on Facebook: “Stockholm down, next stop hamstad and maybe Goteborg..life is always a journey. The more you travel the more you learn.”

Waris was initially included in a 31-man squad named by Ghana coach Avram Grant but suffered an injury and could not travel to Accra for the team’s camping which opened and closed last week.
